Ho hum. So today was my first day back at classes. An entire hour and a half. Whoo. Since tutorials are usually cancelled the first week, I only have Social Research. And it was a short class. Very full though, I didn’t expect that many people to be taking it, but then again, it is a requirement for SA majors, so it makes sense. But it was in one of the crummy lecture halls in the AQ with the really uncomfortable seats. Ah well. I can survive the semester.

Thanks to everyone’s comments on my last entry. I was feeling really crappy and just not in a good mood. Blech. It wasn’t nice at all. But getting the comments helped perk me up ^-^

Okay. Off to work on something…. I dunno what.

Video games? Sounds good ^-^ Then maybe work on comics, which is good too. Need to think up some plot on that one though. **puts on thinking cap** I want to steal DOAU from Ryan so I can unlock all the outfits. T_T I guess I’ll have to settle for DOA3 until I can steal it from him. Once I get all the outfits, he can have it back. ^-^

So Ryan and I attempted to go and see Memoirs of a Geisha again last night. Total and utter failure, yet again. It’s been really weird. The last three times we’ve tried to go see a movie, probably since the start of December, the theatre has been packed. We could hardly get through the doors of the place (and this theatre has 18 cinemas… yikes). Last friday when we tried, we just assumed it was because the boppers were still out of school. But they were back this week. It was just, weird.

Ah well, maybe we’ll start going Thursday nights instead. Both of us got gift certificates for the theatre for Christmas, so we’ll use them at some point.

So we went and rented Transporter 2 from Jason. We were going to watch The Transporter first, and then watch #2, since I haven’t seen the first one, but Ryan and his brother couldn’t find it. Oh well. So we watched #2 and it was really good ^-^ They made fun of me (namely Ryan’s brother) because I don’t comment on stuff when I watch a movie, unlike the two of them. lol I can’t help it! They can comment all they like, I enjoy just watching the movie. **shrug**

We also watched that Jackass movie, because it was on CityTV, after we finished Transporter 2. That is a horrible movie!! It’s so gross. Blech. Oh well. I’ve seen it now.

So I get to go to work today. Yay. Now that the semester’s started (or starts monday), I get to go back to working the saturday close and the sunday open. Not that I mind, I asked for that in fact. Back into routine for me.

Oye, I got my credit card statement in the mail yesterday. It has my university parking pass and my books for this semester on it. So I paid the statement, and now I feel so broke. Well, more broke than usual. Such is life I suppose. I’m going back on my budget anyway, since I am only working two days a week. The only thing that’s going to break my budget this semester is that my car needs to go in for an oilchange soon. 😛

At least things are looking up. My sinus cold must be going away because I don’t feel like crud this morning! We’ll see how I feel by the end of my shift.

Mmmm. Slushie. <3 Just what I needed was a caffiene/sugar fix + brainfreeze.

So today is my last day of being lazy. Ho hum. It’s really rather depressing. Tomorrow and sunday I have to head on back to work, and then monday my classes start. Lucky lucky me. Ah well. At least I get one dayoff a week (fridays!) this semester to just vedge, like I’ve been doing this past week.

And a good thing too. I’ve been feeling like crud all week. Not sure what I’ve come done with, but I hope I get rid of it before monday. We’ll see I suppose. It’s not like I’m totally debilitated or anything, I can still function fine (well… fine being as horribly uncoordinated as I already am ^-^). My head just has this nagging headachy thing, my eyes are even drier than normal (I have dry eyes as it is), and my sinuses are only a little plugged. Head cold? Possibly.

Last night Ryan went and bought Dead or Alive Ultimate, for xbox. I love DOA3, so this is just an added bonus. Of course, when the two of us play again Jason and Amy we get our butts kicked XD Though against Amy and Jason’s brother Johnno we did pretty well (10 – 4 for us, whee!). I found out that DOA Ultimate lets you unlock anywhere from 15 – 20 new costumes per character. Of course, I’m a dork and love that kind of stuff ((I want to draw all the chars from DOA3… I’ve only done half of one so far)), so I want to help him unlock them. Fun stuffs.

Here’s a question. For those of you who’ve seen my current pair of shoes (lol all of like, 2, maybe three of you?) What do you think of them? My brother today told me today that he thought they were ugly, and though I don’t normally take into consideration my brother’s taste (he’s my brother!), I was thinking on this. I really like my shoes, but they’ve gotten quite beaten up and I don’t wipe them down or anything, so they’re really dusty. I got them at Payless before I started university, so a year and a half out of a pair of Payless shoes is pretty good. The backs are starting to wear out because I’m a lazy ass and don’t like to tie my shoes (it takes too damn long). I’ve been better with tieing these ones though, so maybe that’s why they lasted so long.

This is what my shoes are sortof like, but they are the Payless ones, and definately aren’t shiney leather. But this is shoes is one that I might replace them with…

Er, so that little ramble brings me to my point. Do people like my shoes? I’ve seen new (better quality) shoes in the same style at Transit and SoftMoc, which I will eventually replace my shoes with (once they do hit the bucket completely), but if people don’t think they look good… then should I go with a different style? Again, I don’t typically let other people’s judgement of my apparel get to me, but I appreciate opinions ^-^ So any ideas? Do I buy what I like or take someone else’s fashion critique and see if I can find something else??
