What a shitty day this has been. Hip and a hooray. Seriously, it has sucked majorly, and it’s not over yet.

I did get my paper finished, but it’s probably the worst paper I’ve ever written.

One more to go, then no more papers for a while. Yaaaay!

I would just like to wrap myself in my blanket and go to bed. But alas, that’s not in the plans for me.

Maybe I’ll go get something yummy for dinner, that may brighten my day a little.

On another note, yesterday I booked the time off for Anime Evo. I hope to get it! Now if only I’d been smart enough to pre-buy my pass at the cheaper rates. Duh. Oh well. I’m excited to go! I’ve never been, and it’s killed me to have missed it so many years in a row! XD

Okay, time to stumble off an write a paper.

(Originally posted to my Livejournal, Creamsodaangel)

My registration was at 1:30 today. I actually go the courses I wanted (which is a first!). LOL.

So I decided to take two distance ed courses this summer. I was going to do one, because I’m three credits short of completing my second year. But this other one sounded so interesting, I had to take it! (plus there are a limited amount of music classes, and I miss music so much!!)

CMNS 259 – Accoustic Dimensions of Communications I (distance)
FPA 147 – Introduction to Electroaccoustic Music (distance)

    Fweeee! go me go! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • The library.

(Originally posted to my Livejournal, Creamsodaangel)

The library. What a wonderous thing. I’ve just discovered this great little study carrels in the library. They go all along the outer edge along the windows on the library. It’s a great spot for thinking, and doing homework and writing papers. You can over look over the Convo Mall and just concentrate. It’s so quiet, which is almost intimidatingly so, but it’s so serene.

And books! This semester was the first time I actually used -books- for papers, instead of articles found in online journals.

And the washrooms don’t smell, which is a bonus. Today was the first time that there was toilet paper all over (why can’t girls keep washrooms clean? honestly yeesh).

The computer lab on the 5th floor always has a short wait, unlike the one on the 3rd floor or in the AQ.

It’s an especially lovely place when it’s sunny, because it brightens the place up and makes me ever so cheerful. The atrium under the Images Theatre has nothing on the library study areas.

I’m always in a good mood after doing homework in the library. It’s somewhat inexplicable. But just the feeling from being in there makes me happy (I’m strange. Get over it. ๐Ÿ˜› ).

Why didn’t I discover the gem that is the W.A.C. Bennett Library sooner??

((now you know my secret, I’m going to have to kill you. Wouldn’t want people crowding it, now would we?? XD ))

HRMS. Listening to the weather on news1130, and they’re saying it’s overcast. *Looks out the window**. The sun it so bright! They call that overcast? Weird!

On thursday it was the same. They said it was showering, and it was sunny. I didn’t think weather difference between Langley and Vancouver (where I’m assuming they’re reporting from) would be that different! ๐Ÿ˜›

Well today was a bizzarro day. But good, none the less. The weather was very nice, sunny and bright (hardly overcast, like the news said. there was few clouds). Went to school. Was bored out of my mind, as I had already taken what we were learning today in a previous class (oh well). Came home.

At the 200 street exit, there were 3 semis lined up in the right lane, which would then take me at leat 3 lights to get through, so I took the left lane and hoped to be able to cross. Couldn’t, so ended up going around the movie theatre. As I was going past the park and ride, I saw Amy waiting for the bus, so I stopped and we had a good chat (she was on her way to school). Then her bus came, and i rode off.

Went to the new BMO branch to get some money, then headed over to Mac’s to get a slushie. This is the first time ever that I’d seen and ALIAS magazine, so I bought it! Very exciting. Only read a tiny bit of it. Good stuffs. Came home and chatting with my mother. Learned some interesting things about a friend of mine. Then vedged infront of the computer. Dad and I went for a walk.

    Now here I am (yay!).

You know, it’s amazing how people will look for any excuse to procrastinate. Look at me for example. I have (another) paper due tomorrow, yet I can spend 15 minutes just watching my screen saver instead of doing the readings for it. Go me go. ๐Ÿ˜›

Here it is almost midnight, and I don’t even have 500 words done in a 2500 word paper. Whoooooo. Stupid thing. I guess it would help if I knew what I was doing. I guess it’ll be another ‘fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants’ paper. Foo. ๐Ÿ˜› It’s on the history and social/environmental impacts of coffee. Exciting. >_<

What a day. Nothing overly exciting happened. Yanno, just the norm I suppose. Sleep. School. Home.

Last night was fun however. Ryan, Jason, and I went to Willowbrook for the 25 minutes that it was open. Only Ryan bought stuff. Then we pondered where to eat. Ended up at a place called ChooChoo’s in Downtown Langley. It was alright, but I thought a little overpriced for our budgets ๐Ÿ˜› Then we meandered up to DQ and got yummy blizzards, followed by going to Amy’s house and played Pictionary. Ahhh Pictionary. What fun times you have given us. It was girls against guys. We each won a round. Lets just say that I had stitches in my side from laughing so much. XD It was good.

I ought to be working on a paper now. I went to the library and actually did some work there! It was quite nice. The sun was coming in the window and it was ever so quiet. I wonder if you can actually get wireless there, or if it’s a dead spot? I should look, because I enjoyed working there very much. Got 6 books for my assignment. And I’m ever glad I drove today because they were heavy and it would have really sucked to have to lug them on SkyTrain.

    Oh Gosh. Bored as ever.

Found out that the paper that I thought was due tomorrow, is actually due thursday. Hurray! XD So I have more time now that I know a little more on what I have to write.

Highway was nice and quiet this morning on the drive. Ahhh spring break. Made for a nice drive.

Embarrased myself in front of the Images Theatre by tripping on the stairs. It was funny. And of course classes were just switching, so everyone was waiting to go in and saw me. I laughed.

Oh p.s. I’m at school right now.

    More later… yay.
