Happy St. Valentine’s Day all. Or should I say “Another-excuse-to-spend-money-and-be-even-bigger-consumers Day”. It’s amazing the Valentine’s day gifts I saw being toted around campus today. And no, I’m not one of those Valentine’s haters because I don’t have a sweetheart of my own. I do (you know who you are you hunky man you 😉 ). However, I don’t understand why people need one single day of the year to show their love. Seriously. Shouldn’t you be able to show your love on any of the other 365 days of the year? It does bother me that people blow this so called holiday out of proportion. One day of the year to show your love? Bullshit. Now pass me an easter chocolate.. that’s a holiday I can dig my teeth into 😀
